At the Virginia Davis School of Dance, family has been the focus since 1975 when Virginia started offering quality dance education to students ages 3 to adult. Over 30 years later, it's a family tradition as Virginia and her daughters, Vlyn Davis (the office manager), and Kay Davis Hamielec (a seasoned instructor with over 30 years of dance experience), continue teaching Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hula.
Our mission: To help students develop a strong sense of self worth, confidence, self esteem and respect through the art of Dance.
At age 3, many students start with Pre-Ballet and continue dancing through high school. Graduating seniors showcase their talents each year as featured performers at the annual summer dance recital.
The Madison studio also offers a summer dance camp and a 5-week summer dance program. There is also a Belleville branch studio. Virginia Davis serves as both the director and as an active teacher, continuing the wonderful tradition of bringing dance into children's lives. |
